![]() Saturday, November 19, 2011 12:30pm - 04:30pm After the Leaves Hike at Northfield Mountain November ushers in the leafless hiking season and its beautiful views of ridges and valleys covered with slender gray trunks and thick green pines. This hike begins and ends at the Northfield Mountain Visitor Center and hikers will enjoy three state views at the mountain-top overlook. The group will descend through Fuller's Pasture as the sun sets behind the hills of Gill. This 4½ mile hike contains elevation changes of 800 feet. Please wear sturdy hiking shoes, dress for the weather and bring water and a hearty trail snack. Heavy rain cancels.
